

Geoff has over 20 years of professional restaurant experience, including an extensive background in both commercial and not-for-profit kitchens. From improvisational cooking using limited ingredients and resources, to planning and executing grand-scale fine dining banquets, Geoff has done it all.
Born and raised in Lansing, Geoff believes in giving back to his community by volunteering his time and sharing his culinary skills for worthy causes. He has donated custom-designed dinner parties as auction items for a variety of organizations, including Greater Lansing Food Bank Empty Plate, Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region, and Lansing's Westside Neighborhood Association.
Geoff started Ex Culina in 2014, with the goal of sharing his passion for all things food and beverage with others. He holds a Masters of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University A graduate of the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education in Grand Rapids, he holds degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management.
