I keep half a dozen different cheeses in my fridge at all times. I keep my own sourdough starter. I can bake bread, pies, pastries, cakes, and cookies. I make my own stock. In the summer, I make ice cream. I grind my own hamburgers and enjoy doing charcuterie. I love craft beer; on occasion I brew my own. I want to know the history behind what I'm eating; I think the science underlying food is fascinating.
